I am one who Understands

A friend sent me an e-mail today with a photo of a baby dolphin being fed from a bottle whilst cradled in the arms of a diver. It made me cry.

Only yesterday I was reading about how the dolphins are leaving the earth. Their sufferance caused by the brutality of man to their species has resulted in them giving up their struggle. They are exhausted and are electing to go home. Their mass beachings and self inflicted diseases are their way of refusing to continue their suffering. They have lost their hope of fulfilling their life purpose which is to bring joy, love and creativity to the oceans.

The dolphins' purpose is also to build a bridge of love and wisdom and intelligence between the aquatic world and the human race.

It is so saddening that a species, so benevolent and kind,  has been so brutally abused and mistreated.

It has come to my attention that we fellow humans who have compassion, need to gather together and grieve with the dolphin soul. We need to offer our compassion and ask for forgiveness from them for what our species has done and continues to do to these beautiful creatures. We need to express to the Soul of the Dolphin that we are deeply sorry for our part we played in our ignorance of their abuse. We need to forgive ourselves and those who continue to sacrifice these gorgeous creatures, because they just do not know what they are doing. They are living unconsciously.

We need to offer them our prayers and visualise sending them rays of love that emanate from our hearts and penetrate the waters of the oceans and bathe them with our love. We need to tell them: "I am one who understands", so that their suffering has not been in vain. We need to tell them that their sufferance has caused some of us to gain consciousness and evolve spiritually.

With each newly awakened human soul, the collective consciousness of humanity is raised ever so slowly until hopefully a critical mass is reached, whereby all of humanity will access this knowledge without having to be taught it.

So my prayer is not only for the dolphin, but for humankind.

Spirit, may you open the eyes of  every person in our realm.
Show each and every one compassion for self
Show mankind the results of their unconscious actions to others
Allow us to grieve for our unconscious ways in the past
and help us to find it in our hearts to forgive ourselves and those who remain unconscious.
Help us to raise the awareness on our planet by initiating change within ourselves first.
